Today is the day of the much awaited Army Half Marathon and Shares Bridge Run!
Finally no more of the administrative work ..
But on seeing some of the pics online, suddenly really have the urge to try and challenge myself for 10 km..
Maybe shall try to strive for within an hour for a start.. Oso worried that i may not be motivated until the next marathon sometime oso in late Aug/Sept period.. Shall wait and see if my interest is still there by Feb 09..

Today is oso the last day of the Beijing Olympics Games. No more games and matches on weeknights for entertainment already... Saded..
Shall look forward to the next Olypmics, the London game..

Finally managed to clear all those stuff at office to sit down and relax peacefully at home. Knowing that there are no more work on my to-do list or to-submit list..
At times, work can really made me feel tired so much so that i fell asleep after dinner. Tiring..
Can't wait to ORD..

Today, got a new guy comes in to office. Finally can see some new face.

Walk at Southern ridges

Back here after being away for so long...

last sunday went for a morning walk with Pioneer Zone 7 RC at the southern ridges. Ticket was at $1 per person.

Starting at the alexandra link bridge, we walked slowly and took in the sights and sounds of nature.. though at times it can be noisy due to the presence of large number of visitors, constant chit chat of old ladies, the somewhat annoying tour leader who kept talking ( i felt like he was picking on me). It was quite crowded with joggers and visitors, especially so on a sunday morning (i believe). It was a winding zig-zag route through the forested area at the beginning as the steel platforms on which we were walking were on hill slopes.
Before long, we reached telok blangah hill park. Once secluded and lesser known to the public, it used to be a nice hideout most suitable for enjoying a quiet walk. Now with the publicity of the southern ridges, it is now swarming with people. Somehow, it spoils the quiet and peaceful tranquility of the place. A section of the route, named Henderson wave, is the most interesting section as the approximately 274m bridge span across the wide road at abt 76m above sea level. After the Henderson Wave is Mt Faber where good view of the surrounding port and housing estates can be seen. It is good that there is a route leading to Harbourfront station for wearied trekkers to relax and enjoy the cool environment of the malls. the whole walk took abt 2.5 hours with resting time for older folks.

It is recommended to start from alexandra or telok blangah and head down towards Harbourfront via Marang trail and not vice versa. The Marang trail, which extends from Mt Faber to Harbourfont, consists of numerous steps that may not be suitable for the elderly..

later walked to IT show at Suntec to join c, JK, Wy and s.

didnt have anything in mind that i want to buy. jus going there for an outing to feel better. rather than the dreadful alternative of scooping up at home to sleep and rot. didnt buy anything. over meal, c and jk jus keep making fun of ermm ermm.. kinda bored after some time.

Left for home after meal with the rest as s needs to go home for extra dinner.

Went kpool at JEC with PY.. It's been a long time since i last went for a pool game.. De-proved though compared to last time.. Finally feel got some life after work. Instead of everyday go home straight after 5.30pm.. :D

Vivo family day

today went vivo for movie Get Smart for family day with sisters.
Saw that David glass again. His english really got some accent. Sometime cant really understand what he is talking abt.. The show not very nice. It's a comedy but not much things to laugh abt. Not very funny kind of comedy..

then went with BL, Simon, JQ n WY to scout for JK's birthday present. went to orchard before we finally see it. Shall not say what is it here. then went coffee bean for a break to sit down and chat. But apparently the atmosphere seem rather weird cos no one is talking much.. even on our way home on the train. Sorry for not contributing much cos really i am out of touch with outside world since i enter NS..

Horrible workplace

My workplace there is really horrible!

Due to the mission-centric nature of the working environment, when some people MC, or go for leave, then those who are here to work will get the additional workload that is supposed to be done by the person away. This is really bad. And i just have a taste of it some days back. As if i dun have enough work to do! Apparently, they must have feel that we clerks are very free. What i dun like is that those who 'keng' MC are actually doing it at the expense of others. This makes me dun feel like coming to work.

Even when i am busy, i try to have a glimpse at what others are doing. I saw something that make me feel worse in my already terrible worklife. Apparently some people are not busy and they have all the time to surf forums, play games while i had to slog my heart out to do work. Worse, the work keeps on piling up. This is really unfair to me. Maybe blame it on my bad luck. Didnt get a more slack and relax position in office. This makes me feel like kenging MCs as i feel that i am overworking as compared to my peers whom are also earning a pathetic $400 - $420 allowance. Why i must do more work than others??

This is just some part of my lousy worklife..

Went out to marina square for my Breakfast cum lunch in the afternoon. Meanwhile rot till FR and JH have bought their stuff at Bugis. met them at 4 pm at cineleisure. Initially wanted to watch iron man at 4.20pm but then JH already watched that. never mind, we sat down at LJS waiting for YJ b4 deciding on an activity. went for E2 Max to play Counterstrike Source. There is this promotion that if u buy tickets for movie, u can get to enjoy lan gaming at $3.80 for 2 hours. Not bad. Watched chocolate after that. A rather ok show cos i watched b4 many of such action packed movies so this one is more or less the same.. after movie, lionel came to join us. Aimlessly, we five walked around orchard. then finally decided to walk to PS to meet WK and Wilson. Had a simple Mac meal b4 heading for home. Although i seldom play CS, i still find the gaming part most fun this outing ieven though i am a noob in this game..

Vesak Day

Finally recovered from everything on Sunday.. This weekend supposed to be a long weekend for me but unfortunately i slept through most parts of it, hence missing the feeling of a long nice weekend. Nevertheless, am delighted that i have rested enough since i took MC on Thurs. It was until Sat that i managed to feel slightly better and till Sun to recover from it all. Being sick drains one of his/her energy so much so that even now i don't feel like going out or doing anything in particular. Although effectively i am having 5 days of break, i feel that i am enjoying only 2 days of it !?

Today is vesak day. And i am at home sleeping and dotaing. hahaha.
No choice. Don't feel like going out after i just recovered from illness.

Next week i shall make effort to go out with Frens whom i have been neglecting due to my unwillingness to go out, my busy schedule and my sickness.

It is bored to stay home all day.

Still not feeling very well today.. wake up with flu and slight fever. so went off to sleep further till mid afternoon. hopefully everything goes well then tmr can go for a short session of basketball with the guys and gals. feeling very weak.. body aching probably from yesterday 2.4km run. Have itchy rashes as recently the night been warmer than usual. Bad weather phenomenon probably due to global warming.

While we live, though uncomfortably, though the weeks, we must be thankful we did not experience something more drastic. A week ago, a cyclone swept through a Myanmar region with the death toll reaching 23,000 people and increasing. And as the region was one of the main rice farming region in Myanmar, there is concern as to whether the global supply of rice is still sufficient. Hopefully rice prices will not increase..

Chinese garden revisit

Sat went down to Chinese Garden walk walk with sis and mum. cant really remember when was the last time i came. i believe it is more than 10 years ago when i was still very young. so before today visit, i have rather vague impression of the place.

Sat from 4pm to 8 pm was the celebration event organised by Pioneer CC to commemorate and recognise the 40 years anniversary of Singapore Pools and the 20 years contributions of the Totalitarian Board..
It was very happening and celebrations and performances were put up with a multi-racial concept. However there was no activities to engage the mass visitors, except for a mini quiz which was given out by volunteers, girl guides and scouts whom i believe were dragged to go to help out at the event. Saw the statues of Chinese heroes that i found to be strangely familiar. Upon closer inspection, realised that they were originally at Marina South Park. Had took pictures of the statues when i was much younger at the Marina Park before it was moved to Chinese garden in 1997.(or was it 1999??). There was nothing of interest there. The lion dance performance was as usual. Nothing special though have to agree that some high degree level skills are required. The pagodas were closed off to the public. The live turtles and tortoises museum was too expensive to visit at a price of $5 for an adult ticket. X(

After walking around, basking in the celebrations and seeing the people went by doing their performances, we left about 2 and a 1/2 hour later for dinner at nearby 300+ Jurong East market. wow, the market appears like closed with about half the stalls closed for the day. nothing much to eat so have to make do with anything. Bad. wonder how do the residents there eat for dinner. probably all go chiong the coffeeshops.

YAY! jus draw my rank last Friday! Finally promoted to LCP after like 10 months in service. very very slow compared to others. rank already 1 month overdue..

been playing, playing and playing..
Cutting down on outings to save some money.

Am playing final fantasy VII: crisis core currently.. nice game.. will understand e storyline better esp if u played b4 Final fantasy VII.

As for Patapon, m stuck at e castle mission.. saded. shall explore further.
one thing i dun like abt patapon is that once ur pon dies and u didnt pick up e cap, u need to keep farming in order to build new pons. tedious.

can even type out what i do everyday..

wake up at 6.30am
left home at 7.05am
take the 7.15 train to bukit batok mrt.
just nice take the 7.35am bus to base.
work till 9.30am for morning break.
come back at 10am or 10.05am to office for more work
Lunch at 1pm
Do mailing at 3.30pm or 4pm depending on situation
Back to office by 4 or 4.20pm
work, work, work till 5.25pm then pack up for home at 5.30pm if i have no duty.
catch the 5.30 pm bus to bukit batok interchange
then reach home at 6.10pm
bath immediately and have dinner by 7pm
Gaming or surfing net till 9pm
Watch the current 9pm channel 8 tv serial, "The Truth"
Followed by the 10pm Hong Kong "Healing Hands 3" on channel u
11pm prepared to sleep.
Sleep by 11.30pm..

Been long since i last blogged. i simply had much better things to do than blogging cos everyday is jus monotonous. Cant wait for my life to be back to normal ORDinary day. Just started on cabal and was playing cabal almost everyday, patapon on my psp until stuck at e castle mission currently..

today went down to officers' mess for appreciation lunch for a sucessfully organised workplan. though we the nsf in my dept were contributing very minor role being in e umbrella party, e col is kind enough to invite us for e buffet. buffet by Purple Sage.. food is nice. we had fun playing pool. discovered my pool skills deteriorate like dunno what.. no longer accurate.. 2 hours away from work. how good it will be if it were to be every week one games day, jus like today.

Watched the spiderwick chronicles today at jp. With bl, wl, th, wy, jq, jq and a 'new' gv staff (to me is considered new cos seldom see him).. The show is quite good.. but e ending ends really fast. not much of a fighting..

wed shall be watching Rule #1 with carine, ryan and the rest.. Still have not finalise who will be going.. Hopefully, Rule #1 will be good.

Yay! next week will be a 4 days working week due to Good Friday!

Movie Marathon

Woke up early first thing in the morning to go down to cathay for 10,000 BC. okay only.. Slightly draggy. ordinary and unbelievable ending. Ending is like 300, very similar to the Spartan throwing the spear at the king. Ending not original and the storyline i guess is out to make for a happy ending.

Came back to JP in the afternoon for The Leap Years. Nice show. It all begins with Li-Ann (Acted by Li lin) seeking love and proposing to a 'blue blurry' man, Jeremy, on Feb 29th. Li-Ann and Jeremy agree to meet up every leap year at the usual place, the window cafe. The movie portrays certain events critical in Li-Ann's life every leap year as she reunites with Jeremy. Have sad and happy moments. Very touching and heart warming.

Afterwhich was Ah Long Pte Ltd. The show been screening for quite time time but only now then i watched. another okok show.. Not as interesting as previous, I do i do. Certain parts are funny and some parts are lame. Not much comments.

IT Show 2008

Had keen interest in getting a portable hard disk drive.. so there i was at IT show this year at suntec. Today is the last day.. went in the afternoon alone and already some products were already sold out by the time i reached. Managed to get a Maxtor OneTouch4 Mini 160GB for $129 (Usual: S$179).. Good deal! Shall use it to store my PSP games and files.. It's getting overwhelming.. Woops!

tmr will be movie marathon.. will be watching Leap Year, Ah Long Pte Ltd and 10,000 BC.

recently had a number of surprising things..

firstly. friends at gv organised a chalet at pasir ris.. but unfortunately it started on the 2nd (sunday) and ended on the 3rd (monday) which i am unable to make it as i have to work on Monday.. saded..
Sry guys if u r even reading this...

secondly. it was a surprise that my dept new clerk turns out to be ng chee yang, campus superstar champion... though i didnt watched the competition, nevertheless, i was still wow surprised! so coincidence!

thirdly. hahaha.. this is a "self-made" surprise for myself. suddenly, unconsciously it was march already... Which means i had went through NS for 9 months.. i didnt even notice it as the days went by.. mayb i was living day by day, didnt even notice the time... This month also means my promotion to LCP.. Yay.. Think it is additional $20 for my monthly pathetic allowance.. Good!

Starting today there is this IT show at Suntec again! it will ends on the 9th march (sunday). duration from 12noon to 9pm.. Friends, anything IT related thinking of buying, now is one of the good chances for you to get good, low-cost deals. hope to see u there!

L change the world, JI leader

It been some time since i last updated this space..

Tues had off from work so i went to jp to watch L change the world. Not bad. quite good jus that not as exciting as Death Note and Death Note: The Last Name cos there is no competitor.. storyline pretty linear. Jus sit in and move with e flow. Not much thinking which is good after working.
After work jus dun feel like thinking already. Mentally exhausted..

Today morning then i heard of the Jemmah Islamiah Leader escape. Was rather shock. How did he escape???!??!? Surely somebody helped him.. High alert at the moment for my office, esp for COG. Look like it is more work for me.. but so far still okay..

Hopefully e additional work will not be done by me, if not, at least managable..

A surprise at eye checkup

Morning went NUH for my eyesight checkup.. was there to check on my eyes as the medication i am taking currently has side effects on the eyes. boring there waiting without my psp. There was a ESPN basketball match between East conference and West conference. so i watched it. East conference won closely. The match was interesting as the two teams scores were always close and East conference did certain fantastic stunts. Surprisingly, while watching the match halfway, saw Erh at Clinic E (Eye) too. so coincidence!! anyway been there for 2.5 hrs checkup. Mostly is waiting time. whole checkup is effectively only abt 20mins? Left the hospital for work after abt 3 hours there... the nurse administered eyedrops which cause the sunlight to be especially bright after i left the comfort of the shade in the building. First time having this kind of special eyedrops. need to squint my eyes when going out under the sunlight. occasionally super bright and occasionally cooler when i walked in and out of the shade. the walking route back to my office were long. felt very warm and tired.. Finally home after 3 hours of work. Phew!

Finally feel like blogging after almost 1 month..

Since the last post, there had been nothing much interesting worth blogging abt. basically eat, work, play and sleep.
The lunar new year this year was nothing special or out of the ordinary.. went to grandma's hse for the day. collected abt 11 red pkts only which amted to $140 plus.. all day been there eating and playing my psp at grand's.. Saw my cousins and one of them jus brought his psp not too long ago.. But he did not have MHF2... sianx.

This year valentine's day had new changes. cos e last few years of valentine's day was spent working at golden village or gossip village with e popper. saded. this year slightly different cos was not working. was slightly ill, so i spent e morning visiting e doctor at polyclinic. then i went home to rest.. But i fell asleep n ended up sleeping for e whole day. Wasted day but anyway what to do, no gf...

today did nothing much. woke up late ard 11pm plus. jus settled a bit of my applications for uni. dun feel like going for business course again, but of course really no choice then i dun mind going for a business degree. Afternoon went to watch Sweeney Todd (johnny depp) at e cineleisure.. it's a musical. Storyline is alright. Overall, it's nice to watch. Not boring, not lame.. Average. With 5 being excellent and 1 being bad, would give a 3.5 rating for the movie.

Basketball Match at Indoor Stadium

Ytd went to Singapore Indoor Stadium to watch a basketball match. It was a 2 hours match starting at 5pm. Match between Singapore Slingers and Australian Cairns Taipan. Despite leading for three quarters of the match, Singapore eventually lost to Cairns Taipan with 87 -99. Taipan caught up at the last quarter and with their team strong 3-pointers and numerous foul-ins, they won. Slingers' teamwork waned as the game near the ending of last quarter. Nevertheless, Slingers made efforts and overall it was an exciting match. Thanks HM whom gave us all the tickets.. :)

We went to marina xin wang hongkong cafe for dinner afterward ard 8pm. The servings there were so small. not filling and not value for money to eat there. Went home after that for a good rest b4 work..

Happy New Year!

Looking back is something i do as each year passed.
I think about the good things like achievements, pleasant memories; as well as the bad: the mistakes i've made, the things that i fail to achieve and the things that i miss out. Since it's the beginning of a new year, i ponders about how this year will be different from last or previous years.
I think about the mistakes, how i can avoid them, as well as the lessons learnt from them and hopefully i can prevent them from happening again. And of course, i also look at the good side, i.e. achievements, and perhaps i can improve for the better.

i recalled year 2007 that i passed my driving test and obtained my licence in April! 2007 is also the year i quitted gv after working there for about two and a half years. Had many pleasant and sad memories. Met many new friends there. i enlisted for NS in June. i also had my psp slim which i am glad to have for it can accompany me throughout my two years of NS.

Now as we usher in the year 2008, we shall look at the brighter side of life and change for the better. :)

new year's eve

today is new year eve. so have half day at work. the other half i was watching movies at the cathay. watched Aliens vs Predator 2 and national treasure: book of secrets. AvP2 is normal. some scenes are dark so cannot see clearly some of the fighting. NT2 is very fast paced requiring no thinking at all unlike the first movie. The movie simply brings you along the plot.

after the movie, went down to vivocity. this year new year countdown is held at vivocity instead of sentosa. the rooftop is filled with ppl. even the escalators required policemen to maintain the queue.

after some walking, decided to go home as it was quite late.

This year christmas eve went down orchard for a stroll jus like a few years down the road. Pretty much the same every year. Walked till PS before me, ryan n bl decided to go down to TH's hse for mahjong. so tis year christmas countdown at th's hse. new changes.

ytd went down to Cineleisure to watch I am Legend with JH and EX. As we had an hour to spare, we went to kpool there for a few round of pool. funny thing is i placed the table no. card at the slot in the table and when we wanted to leave, we realised that the card is lost. Apparently we were at the table all the time and no one would have walked past and took our card. There is a small hole in the slot but then the card shdnt have fit into the hole. Weird. First time i played pool lost the card.

I am legend is not very nice overall. The storyline is not interesting. perhaps the show is good because it clearly captures the feeling of sadness, loneiness, and desperation. Other than that the show is pretty normal.

Tmr is new year eve. Half day for me!

Cohesion Day

Now then i had time to update my blog. Feeling a bit lazy to update.

Last wed had cohesion day for my dept. We went down to Arena Country Club which is opposite SAFTI MI at noon. Had lunch at Tung Lok Seafood Resturant. Originally is Ala Carte Buffet but due to some errors somewhere, the lunch was changed to a 8-course menu. Nevertheless, the lunch was delicious, though not very filling.. Most likely is i sitting at a table where everyone is a big eater. hahaha. After lunch we went to e bowling alley within e country club. First game scored a 122 followed by 106 and 102. Not bad score considering that i had not bowled for abt 1 year?? then we went home slightly early at 5pm. Hopefully got more cohesion.. XP
Learned that another dept had cohesion and year end function.. their dept year end function is to go for a movie together. so good. we only had cohesion. :'(

Even now as i am clearing leave. Dun really noe what to do or where to go. NS results in meaningless life as there is no objective or goal unlike studyin whereby u at least have a target, i.e. to obtain good results. i guess my target now is only looking forward to ORD..

Wow! It has been 3 long weeks since i last blogged. Am very amazed myself..

Basically i am unable to blog due to e following circumtances/situations :
- My NS life is routine and due to the sensitive nature of it, i am unable to comment much on it.
- Playing MHF2 on my PSP
- My sis playing com games mostly at night
- My Com infected with viruses, so i spent some time mending and correcting my com to e current state.

Nevertheless, still try my very best to ask frens out.. watched hitman with JH today n walked ard orchard.. suddenly feel refreshed after many many weeks staying home playing PSP. Good feeling to keep in touch with frens again if not i will become more and more anti-social..

my cousins came my hse ytd to borrow my com to type an chinese passage. e teacher probably wans to train them in their hanyu pinyin.. so my cousin was basically retyping e passage using hanyu pinyin in Microsoft word. then an wicked thought came across my mind.. Y dun u go photocopy e passage.. Hee hee. XP but i didnt tell my cousin though.. need to get her to train her hanyu pinyin..

thinking abt hanyu pinyin, i recalled tat in e past when i was still in pri school, hanyu pinyin was probably jus introduced to students as part of e chinese curriculum. i admitted tat i didnt learn hanyu pinyin very well though.. my chinese is esp weak..

been monster huntering for e past 1 week plus.. Addictive Monster Hunter Freedom 2 game.. last sun morning playing MHF2 till afternoon at home then afternoon went TH's hse for MHF2 tog w WL, TH n R till past 11pm, pausing occasionally for short breaks. so basically playing MHF2 for e whole day!!!!
Shall paused my game for a short while..

jus came back from dinner with R, boon and hm at imm after my work. seldom go imm.. had fish & co there. was a bit reluctant at first due to e cost but nevertheless went ahead anyway.. i tried e sambal fish. nice but hard to eat leh.. haha chatted a lot of things.. from r/s situation to games to gv..

today went Asik's hse warming party in e afternoon. met up with a lot of gv ppl. but oso found out tat i had lost touch with gv happenings n gossips so rather hard to fix in e conversation. Nevertheless, good to meet up with them..
thereafter went down to tar hau's hse to play psp. played monster hunter pt quests. fun to play as a grp. Soon it was dinner time n we headed down to nearby imm pepper lunch. then came back to TH's hse for 3-4 rounds of mahjong game cos it was rather late when we started. it was my first time playing mahjong. asked a lot of lame qns.. hahaha. used to watching my uncles played mahjong at my grandma old hse so i managed to pick up e game play quite fast. Fun!

So happy. ytd went for my diagnosis at jurong polyclinic. e doc says my fingers-swelling problem is probably only gout, not rheumatoid arthritis or any other disease.. which means i can eat as per normal. jus need to control my diet a bit. shall await another test at NUH later next month as refered to by e army MO.

today work involves receiving 60 boxes of printing papers from e delivery man... in each of tis box consists 5 packs of papers..total 300 packs. O.O!
2 -4 persons to move e papers up.. wow.. e order takes up slightly more than 1 pallet load! MAD.

Came down PS n orchard to check out PSP pricing n availablity of packages n deals.. then met JH to walk walk. Lionel n EX came later. Initially JH suggested kbox at cine but e rate there during weekends n public holiday is horrendous, at ard $32 per person, inclusive of food, for abt 2 hours?!?! then we suggested to change plan to play pool or watch movie but not all consented so we changed plan again. we checked out e ktv party world, which is slightly cheaper so we all went for it. Sang many songs till 11pm b4 we rushed for home.

My urge for a PSP is getting stronger..

Heard one very amazing thing today. Do u know tat someone can type out e minutes of a meeting even b4 e meeting actually commences? Well, one retired officer in my dept did jus tat! heard it from one of my grp of frens there.. Pro! i guess he many years working there, so probably noe e structure of e meeting and roughly how it will turns out. so he jus edit a bit after e meeting and thus is ready to submit.. heard tat he oso hv many templates of documents rdy. Wow! A veteran indeed. O-O

one of the posters at the bukit batok bus stop near e interchange caught my eyes. it was a picture of a pair of slippers, those tat hv many rounded studs at e place where ur soles are. the studs were all numbered. a caption states : falling aSleep? at e top edge. upon seeing e btm corner, i noticed tat it is advertising abt coffee from Gyphon Coffee Company. Very simple but creative ad tat catches my eyes. too bad i dun hv camera phone if not i will take e pic.

Feel like buying PSP slim after hearing tat many ppl buying.. haha

Seriously considering it cos can use PSP to watch videos, movies and listen to songs too other than playin games. shall do more research.

didnt really noe what to do at tis part of my life.. jus feel tt i am wasting it away tis 2 years.. Nothing constructive or progressive i m doing currently.. thinking of taking some part time courses oso cannot as mostly are business n IT related courses and i had already taken them b4 in my diploma. Partly oso no motivation to take. My duties at work oso sort of discouraged me as duty timing are irregular and not fixed. work is so much till i felt like sleeping by e time for me to go home...

Past few days been busi playing World of Warcraft, abbreviated WoW.
Had to admit was a bit addicted to it. realised my social life suffered during tis 10 days of my trial WoW period.. But i m determined not to buy e online version.

Ytd went to see Chinese Physician at Serganoon Garden with my mum. very long journey.. Went there to seek treatment for my swollen fingers esp at e joints. Suspected mayb due to playin basketball cos i hurted my hands b4 while playin.. can oso b due to feng shi, blood related problems blah blah blah (others i dunno e terms and cannot understand) etc as mentioned by the physician. E Physician even suggests me going to see army MO.

stayed home for e whole today. nothing much to do outside esp without frens.. some working, some are booking in early evening so couldnt get them out..

Continue my RPG Dark Phoenix W3 mod map.. Interesting.. Played until near e end liao. Stuck a bit but figured it out after some time. Gameplay is alright. played till evening b4 meeting Boon and Ryan for dinner. JQuan came to join us too. Then JQuan went home n we went back to moi hse to play games. Played c. chess n UNO stacko. Though usually bored, but long time didnt play so suddenly feel very fun again..Somemore gt frens playing tog so mayb it appears to b more fun.. Played until quite late abt 12.30am. Wonder tmr how am i gg to work.. Anyway, gg!

Running. for slightly more than 2.4km. from my hse to SDC, beside SAFTI MI. Running with my mei.. Good exercise for me as i long time didnt do running.. Amazing i can still run quite far.
Sleeping.. Long time didnt sleep so much n well. had a long sleep from afternoon to evening. then had dinner at home b4 startin on a newly found Warcraft 3 mod RPG map. only single player. perfectly good for me cos most of my frens in e army at e moment. those not in are all working.. Nobody to go out with me.. Saded.. :'(

Been working and working.. Same as usual. Very lifeless, very monotonous, very bored.... nevertheless, try hard to make my life interesting in tis kind of unavoidable environment.

Ytd went for movie. Watched Rogue Assasin.. Nice! Good plot with a twist at e end. Watched till very late abt 11.30om.. Lucky today didnt late.
Last week a new guy came to my office, a new understudy replacing EW.. He is big sized and makes us felt like dwarfs if we stand beside. He so soon during e first week kenna attitude from his boss even though it was not his fault that he didnt had anything to do in e office.. Clearance needs time too.. Sad case.

Chalet

Ytd n today was at Chalet at downtown east.
Organised by Lionel for gathering b4 FR, JH and his NS.. Ytd concidentally oso have zonex nebo promotion which allows neboians to play for free unlimited at selected zonex outlets.. Went early to downtown east to enjoy e free games at zonex.. Didnt managed to play until very satisfied cos halfway gt to leave to find e rest at e chalet.. E racing simulators were always occupied with queues behind them..
Met e rest in e room then we decided to go Escape theme park. Went late at ard 4pm but lucky not much pp so managed to play most of e rides. We played till 8pm closing time. My first time there, i felt tt e go karts was e best... Nice, thrilling , esp down e long steep slope. :)
Ton e night playing Risk then ended up very aimless cos nobody was wininng anywhere.. Some of us went to e beach wanting to watch sunrise but it was too early so we went back for breakfast at Mac. After breakfast managed to catch an hour or so sleep b4 we left e chalet to e zonex where FR, Lionel and JH chiong Initial D 4.. Walked back White Sands for lunch and more initial D 4 at White sands zonex.. We left for home after tt..
Reaching back JP, met up with Bl for short game of pool b4 we went for movie "Evan Almighty" which i felt was a normal show, not very funny for a comedy.. Even sleep a while during e show. Oops!

Bowling! Me, bl, and jq were feeling bored so we three went for bowling.. Erh and WL joined us later.. It was a good game cos i managed to beat my personal best of 126 pinfalls with 132 PINFALLS tis time round with 3 strikes consecutively, Turkey!
We then went Billy Bombers for dinner which was joined by jia qian, tok hong and jia yi.. Though e meal was quite ex, but it was nice..
Wanted by majority to try out bl's new bball, we headed to art park for bball game.. Exciting match and good exercise for someone like me who seldom played bball after my enlistment..

20th - Abt a quarter gone..

Reaching 20th.. had been reflecting on my past 20 years of life and deciding what i should improve on in myself, what to focus, what to priorise and what i hope to achieve for my next 20 years of my life..

Having been rushing ard, been studying hard, moving fast ahead, i realised i really nd to slow down to appreciate my frens n surroundings better. I also wan to change my perception of seeing things to be more optimistic.. Will like to show more care n concern for my frens as well as those in need.. Hopefully i will be able to draw time to stay in contact with my frens..
The next 20 years can expect me to work, work, and more work cos there will be an urgent need to save money for the future.. Past 20 years can still play ard but now it will be serious commitment in working.. I will be working hard towards a job that i enjoy.. Hopefully i can have excess money to afford a car, which is one of my 'Want' items..
More importantly, I wish to be successful in finding my love one.

Day on leave

Today took leave to go out with Ryan, Tok Hong, HM, and BL..
We felt like singing so we went Clementi Kbox for K-Lunch session which lasted till 3pm.. I didnt really sing much cos most of e songs i seldom heard of and i didnt noe e rythem.. We dragged e session till abt 3.30pm b4 we left.. HM then left while we went Jp for pool. JQ came to join us for a few rounds b4 his work.. BL also went for work leaving TH, Ryan n me to go for dinner.. Ordered Family Feast which was meant for 4 so ended up very full.. Recently been eating till very full but i doubted i would be fat. :'( Went home soon after tt.

My birthday!
Went Chervons for bowling with Erh, JQ, BL, Ryan in the afternoon. My bowling skill was rusty after abt 4 months away from bowling.. Managed to score my highest which was a low low score of 112 pinfalls.. But somehow i managed to beat e rest for tt set of game.
Headed to Sakae Sushi at e Hereen for dinner as there was Sushi buffet dinner there.. Ate a lot until very full and dun feel like moving.. after some walk feel hungry again.. Dunn noe is really full or momentarily bloated.. Walked to Lucky Plaza 6th or 7th floor for arcade.. Esp like Daytona cos all of us could play tog at e same time.. Erh kept throwing $$$ at games tt could dispense tickets.. We ended up with abt 161++ tickets which was exchanged for a card and a chinese chess set which was given to me. Was so touched. I tried e Madam Rojie Fortune machine after Ryan told me it was very accurate for him.. Well, mine was very accurate too! Was so amazed! And e results were even more accurate than internet horoscopes, fortune, calculators etc etc etc.. We both tried e topic on love but there were many others topics too like career, relationships, wealth etc. Was pretty late so we went home straight after tt. Celebrated with my family after i reached home..

Today morning i went solo to Army Open House again! My third time! First time walk and see only.. Didnt get to try out the games. Second time too little time to try finish most of the games. And so my third time here.
FR said he will join me in the afternoon.
Upon reaching there, i chiong for the Hitman, Live firing at firing range. It was so popular that by the time i came out e queue was already snaking out at e entrance...
Next i went for the nearby SOC which i wanted to try.. It was okay, especially when i am wearing causal wear with no loads and gun on me. Managed to climb the rope using the technique the instructor taught..
Afterwhich i went to collect e Mission World ticket. My ticket was for e 6pm timing..The Battle Ride World has already ran out of tickets at ard 11pm!!!!!
Tried Time Crisis tis time but it was so lame.. Simulated urban fighting using paintballs. The targets were all stationary and within a few metres range. So easy for a headshot.. No kicks
Approached Marksman again but tis time i was using LAW which was a rocket launcher. It was hard to use..and i was only allowed one round. Then switched to the Singapore made SAR21 to fire off.. Nice cos of its crosshairs and lightweight built.
Wanted to try something non-firing so i went on hertiage trail where i climbed the PengKang hill and the FOFO hill. PengKang gt gd scenery while FOFO gt trenches like those in Medal of Honour games.
By tis time FR came and we tried Marksmen again.. We a bit too enthu already.. Tis time i took M203 again..
I went for Mission World after that. It was e first ever live-firing experience opened for e public. There was a simulated mission with storylines. We broaded 5 tonner on our mission and were briefed by commandoes. First was mine clearing. We witnessed Mine clearing vehicles sweeping for mines. Can sweep up to 50 cm into ground, tough terrain approx. 10 cm. Second is Primus fire support. we were told of the need to bombard the enemy positions and so they called in the Primus.. Then intelligence scouts further reported enemy approching. We were told of e need to rush to finish e mission. Along e way we encountered ambushes so e trucks accelerated to e end point where we witnessed BIONIX I, BIONIX II and SM1 tanks firing at enemy targets (Distanced barrels).. That's all so we headed back to the Open House area.
It was getting late so i met up with FR then we headed for home..
It was an enriching and fun-filled experience.

Open Houses

Met up with Lionel and FR at BBDC open house in the morning.. The topic is riding safely so u can probably expects a lot of bikes which was what i saw too. They brought in a Honda S2000 to the open house. The S2000 was to demostrate the difference between the rear wheel drive and the BBDC auto car front wheel drive.. Both performed slides by turning at fast speed on wet ground which was the only thing interesting abt the open house. Other than that, there was tis lame thing whereby all the bikers were flagged off by the Traffic Police Commander to go one round ard the BBDC driving circuit. >.<
Then in e afternoon we went down to Army open house. My second visit tis time.. We went late at ard 4pm but still we managed to try most of the shooting that we were interested in..
I especially like the Mortal Combat which is 2 teams on either sides to try to capture the flag to bring back to base. The vest we worn would detect lasers shot and sound if we were shot.. I tried my hands on the SAW which is used to sweep and clear groups of troopers. i guess i managed to take down one of the other team mates.. My team won tis match which we thought we would lose cos the opponents team were made up mostly of teenagers..
Marksmen is interesting.. It is in an air-conditioned room with simulated battlefield and we were soldiers shooting at the moving targets.. This is a simulator to test soldiers' weapons proficiency. I fired the M203 which is a M16 installed with a grenade launcher.. Fun!
For the finale, we went to Action World for the Homeland Security Show regarding counter terrorism by the SCDF, SPF and SAF.. There was even fireworks after the show.. Coming out from the seating area, we noticed Future World so we went in see see.. By the time we finished the whole place was closing for the day. So we went home rather late at 8.30pm.

Army Open House 07!
Had lunch outside b4 heading to AOH07 at Pasir Laba Camp..Went with Daniel, Benjamin, Ganesh and Ding Xiong.. Toured one round of the exhibit area. Went past high elements, Fear Factor Land, to hear Daniel daring DX to try the flying fox. But our mood and enthuastism were dampened by the constant "on-off" rain.. >.<
Queued for Time Crisis, a paintball shooting try-out in an urban environment, then abondoned halfway cos most of us felt that it was lame to shoot individually at stationary targets whom will never return fire.. Toured ard for a bit more b4 we took bus to Boon Lay, headed for home..

Was informed abt Army open house at Pasir Laba Camp and collectively with e other clerks was encouraged to go to visit by one of the colonels.. We would have a half day off jus for e visit. Shiok! What a way to escape e usual lifestyle at the office. So we plan to visit e Army open house tis coming thurs..

Ratatouille!
Went to watch Ratatouille today after my work with ryan.. Now is only sneak preview.. i noe i abit kiasu but i really been waiting for this movie for quite some time cos i believe its nice and today after watching it, i found that it have not disappoint me in any way. Went home with a nice feeling afterward. i got tis nice feeling everytime i watched a fantastic movie, same as when i watched Nanny Mcphee and Finding Nemo.

Ratatouille is a heartwarming and inspirational animated movie with good storyline and content. Coupled with some hilarious moments and well-narrated story, the movie is a must-watch tis season.. It greatly infused and presented a great exposure to the culture of France through its food..

Morning wake up at 2.10am like that cos mum wake me up to see something.. Tired cos slept late ard 1am then awoken so fast.. Mum woke me up to see fire nearby at 660A multistorey carpark.. E fire was at level 2. E blaze was soo big that thick black smoke was rising up to 3rd and 4th storey. There were loud explosing sounds to be heard every now and then.. Boom Boom! The neighbourhood probably awoken by e loud blasts and many could be seen crowding at e basketball court jus beside e carpark.. Filled up almost half e basketball court.. e fire was extinguished in abt 10 mins then e bystandsters all returned home left some concerned pp. I guess most pp cant sleep with e boom noises..

Read e lianhe wanbao then realised that got 19 motorcycles and 3 cars were burned. At first only 2 bikes tio but then e fire spreaded very fast.
i kept thinking if e drivers didnt buy insurance then jiu good luck already lah.. Sad case. Arson.

Jus a few days ago see fireworks, now see fire.. Next time dunno will see what? LOL.

Didnt really have much things to do today..
Jus playing some games on e computer for e early afternoon..
Then went to play pool at jp with ryan. was shortly joined in by BL.
Afterwhich it was dinner time so we went eat eat.
Ryan persuaded me to go watch 881 so we watched e 9.40pm time slot.. Rather late but thinking again felt alright so we go ahead to watch.
okay show with some nice hokkien getai songs.. Although e storyline i dun really like for it was typical, i appreciated e efforts put in creating e movie. E movie is more like a musical for most of e parts were singing scenes. Make me think of Phantom of the Opera..

Fireworks!

Feeling so bored today..

So afternoon went down alone to Central at Clark Quay to walk cos didnt go there b4. There got a lot of shops selling girls and women stuff, so it will be better for gals, not so much for guys to shop there. Call up JH to join me there. We walked a short while b4 strolling down to esplanade. Sensed something amiss when i saw so many security guards and policemen ard. Then Jh told me it was one of the fireworks days tonite..
Nevertheless, feeling hungry we went down to marina sq and suntec. Both unusually crowded. Settled for dinner at Carl's Jr at suntec b4 we went out to walk nearby.. We walked somehow, i dunno how, and were led to e nearby esplanade area again! We probably followed e crowd. We ended up at e area near e centopath. Then decided to watch e fireworks since we r here. So we rested and waited for like half an hour at e edge of e crowd b4 we saw e fireworks. This is my second time watching actual fireworks. First time was at e NDP preview at National Stadium when i was Primary 5. E fireworks were nice.. After e artistic display, we went to Raffles Place to take MRT. On e way back, while crossing e bridge, we felt like entering some European countries, e.g. London, whereby we experienced foggy environment which was created by e fireworks. E atmosphere was different from usual.. Then it was Home Sweet Home.

Spi-der Pig!

Ytd went to watch simpsons cos my fren got a free movie ticket. Simpsons is so-so only but some parts very funny.. After e movie ended come out jus didnt feel satisfied with e movie.. Got 1 interesting part whereby Homer put e pig upsided down at e ceiling singing "Spider Pig.. Spi-der Pig.." :)

Today as per normal.. On my way back home i see a rather old lady sitting down at my void deck. As i approach she suddenly came into e lift with me. She said "si lau" in hokkien which i heard to be seven storey whereas it shd b fourth storey.. haha laughing at myself and went one detour to the upper storeies b4 lift was willing to turn down.. Then accompany her to her level cos she said she scared of taking e lift alone.

Shall watch more movies as it is getting more and more boring doing routine stuff..

Long time didnt go out with gv staff. Today went out with BL, JQ, Sharon, and Jasmine. Initially met Bl and JQ at kpool jp to play many many rounds of pool. Then Sharon came to join us play.
Afterwards we all go meet Jasmine at bl mrt to go the cathay to watch secrets.. we were slightly late for e show, probably too engrossed in playing pool..
Secrets is a nice show with e exciting piano battle scene. E storyline is abt love somewhat like another movie, Lake House. Those ppl who had watched lake house b4 will noe..
After e show, Jasmine and Sharon went their own ways and left e three of us guys to go makan. we sort of skip lunch and had snacks during e movie so felt very hungry. We came back to jurong to meet up with ryan. JQ went off first. Acc (actually is look) ryan for dinner. Then we felt sianz so we went for pool again. Yes again. if e morning counter staff is still working, she will probably think we are siao kin na. Play pool all day and night. :) Then it was very late so we headed for home.

Harry Potter

Finally finished reading my Harry Potter and the deathly hallows.. I know i took quite a long time to finish reading that book. haha cos everyday could only finished a few chapters bcos of my daily work routine. When i was reading e first half of e book, i had a sense of hopelessness and depression (The dementors could have come to take my soul away). But i motivate myself to continue on. My interest shot up when i read e chapter on the Tale of the three brothers. Then i was like cannot put down e book from that chapter onwards.
Overall an interesting book with some expected endings..

Happy National Day!

42nd National Day already! tis year parade will be unique as it will be at e marina bay. Prefer to go out in the evening but i do not wan to squeeze with e crowds watching e fireworks so end up decided to watch NDP07 on tv with my family.

Wish life can be more happening, not monotonous but i find it hard with my work currently. Shall need to bear with it for 1 year and 10 months.

Lost

i lost e competition ytd.. E competition was a one-game knockout. There was no warm-up before e game. i was leading but as i was hitting my last ball, e black ball entered one of e pockets.. >.< so sianz but nevertheless i lost. e event lasted till abt 9pm so i missed my chinese drama serial, Honour and Passion, which i watched consistently throughout until ytd.
After e competition, i carried on playing pool. Found a good pool player, CPT Mike, who can plays well. And i was entertained throughout, chionging and playing many many rounds through e night. Mike is good and i managed to only win him by a few rounds out of abt twenty matches. Shall practice and train hard in future games of pool. :)

Today we had e national day observance ceremony. Rather short one. Nothing much to do actually, jus stood there watching..

Yay! Feel excited abt tmr pool competition..
Today we knew who our opponents are for tmr match. It is going to b a one game knockout match with a final pool challenge near e end of e event. Daniel even says see me in e semi-final.. Woah! LOL

Heard from my younger sis that secrets is nice. Stunned she so fast go watch liao when it is only sneak preview. She warns me to watch and listen to e show carefully for she says u may need to interpret some parts urself. She even says never watch will regret. I m going to see if that is true.. Or is it jus Jay Chou mania? '-'?

Invisible target

Watched invisible target at PS sometime ago with JH. E show was very entertaining with a lot of action scenes coupled with some hilarious part. E show was nice. But there was one horrible scene which e bad guy forced bullets down e police officer's throat. E show was made funni by one innocent n inexperienced police officer in e world of gangs.

After e show, we went to Carl's Jr for dinner then we went to Wisma Atria to get JH earpiece. We walked back to PS after that and chatted a lot along e way. Haha got lots of interesting topics. Some i was amazed.

This is a draft of a complaint letter which will be sent out should the incident happens again.

I have been a regular patron of TransIsland Bus Services for many years and i must agree that i am overall pleased with your bus captains' level of service. Your company have always been providing reliable bus services especially for the Jurong East and JurongWest areas since i travelled mostly on your company buses in these areas. However a recent incident which i encountered proved otherwise.
On 26 July 2007, i was waiting for bus service number 67 to commune to the nearby Phoenix LRT Station to do a bus transfer to bus service 180 for my journey home. I was at the bus stop (code B32) along Upper Timah Road, Min of Defence, at 1900 hrs. Having waited for 25 minutes, i realised that your company bus service was not reliable and up to standard. I understand that the off-peak service intervals are longer but i cannot accept such long waiting time of 25 minutes. It is extremely unpleasant and disappointing to experience such unreliable and unprofessional level of service.
I want an explaination as to why such an incident occurs. I strongly believe that the frequency of bus service number 67 should be increased. May i also suggest your company to review the bus routes and running schedules so that bottleneck operations or inconsistencies can be eliminated, if not reduced. I hope your company will investigate and look into the matter to improve the situation.

Shiok!
Ytd went for gv farewell dinner for HY and Jay. But for me it is a gathering. It's a nice feeling for a reunion. Chatted ard and learnt that some ppl r leaving gv very soon. I wish my excellent managers all e best in e future!

Today went to Jack's Place at BPP to eat.. First time there.. E food is nice but quite ex.. haha, we overshot e timing again..
Today oso hear a lot of nonsense from one of my collegues.. Man he is weird.. i remember one clearly.. He said weather so cold so should have bring jacket, then he continued saying but then if bring jacket later scare too warm, fall asleep in office.. -_-" He is fasting during tis period for dunno what church thing.. >.<

While on the way home i saw tis container truck with its trailer load of a Forty-foot Equivalent Unit (FEU) doing a narrow divider U-turn.. Spectacular he did it jus nice. It was so dangerous i mean, if e driver strike kerb or requires reversing, it could be dangerous. It appears to me that e driver had tried e u-turn many times b4 cos he did it skillfully and swiftly. Rarely i saw container truck drivers doing narrow divider u-turn that span across 3 lanes.. Dangerous stunt!

Been working all e way..
Past few days went to e same place near EAT. to eat the nasi bryani.. E shop is actually in an Ah Mei Kaya Toast outlet.. Went in there tt time feel strange.. Bryani in Kaya Toast shop!?!?
On another day oso went to e area near EAT. to the nearby Hooked Cafe which is somewhat similar to Fish n Co. E food there oso quite ex.

Thinking of e near future i wont have e chance to eat such food is disheartening.. Cos we were late for most of the time we went outside for lunch.. next time probably got rostered lunch schedule so tt at least 1 person will be in office at lunch time.. next time probably can only go canteen eat..

Went to watch Die Hard 4.0 ytd at plaza sing. Was amazed tt still got a lot of pp watching tt show when it is already 3 or 4 weeks screening in cinemas. After e show i started feeling sick.. HELP

Harry Potter

Ah ha. Went Causeway cathay to watch Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix movie today with Sherliat, WK, and lionel. Used e discount to get a movie ticket at $6 per person. Shiok. Overall e movie is so-so, average lah.. Still can make it lah. But book is still better. E movie not bad already considering e fact that there is a budget constraint as well as the limited running time for a movie. This coming SATURDAY is the Harry Potter series last book- deathly hallows book launch! Been waiting and looking forward to it. :)

Now no more movies to look forward to.. since all e blockbusters i had watched already.. Shall try to clear my comp passes for e next 2 weeks.. :)

HA!
Wed my specs was back from Wed but i dun hv e time to blog.. Or rather life is getting too monotonous to blog..

Thur i had JOD's promotion/celebration lunch at Tung Lok Restaurant at East Coast Park.. The food was fantastic, especially e dim sum. Then after lunch we had bowling event at Marine Bowl jus nearby.. Highest score for me for the day is 109 with no strike.. :( i will try harder..

Friday went WK's birthday celebration at Yishun. His family ordered buffet and invited quite a lot of ppl.. It was his 21st birthday so we had to make it a memorable one.. We forced WK to sing karaoke, had him to stand on top of the chair to cut cake, and mixed funny rojak cocktail drinks for him.. His parents were ard so we cannot play until too extreme.. Later stayed at his condo area there to play Chinese Chess and Risk until very late. Reached home ard 4am in the morning.

I was sleeping early every other day from wed onwards til ytd.. Ytd Saturday was e best cos i managed to sleep a lot a lot at home.. Slept til 12 noon had a short break then slept somemore from ard 3pm like tt to 8pm.. SHiok leh! didnt had so much sleep recently. :)

Today shall go out to apply for e Nebo card with FR, Lionel, Sherliat and JH at cineleisure and watch Transformers with my mei mei later in the evening at JP. Finally can watch le.. Been waiting for very long.. Heard from many that Transformers is very nice. None says it sucks..

My Spectacles frame BROKE! So i m now severely handicapped without a spare spectacle.
Looking forward to Thur lunch and bowling but looking at my condition i guess i may need to skip bowling.. Sad. :'(

Monday Blues..
As usual.. As normal.. As expected..

Did more and more of documentation and sending of documents..

Nothing more.. Nothing less..

Surprises came as our department co-worker Ganesh took us in his car to the nearby EAT. for lunch.. That place turns out to be very popular as there were queues during lunch hour.. The laksa smelled nice but i tried the meepok fishball noodles.. That was nice too.. This is the second outing in his car.. First outing was on Friday 6/7/07 where we headed off to West Mall for KFC..

Fantastic with car ard.. Freedom to go anywhere. But with the pros comes the cons, parking is not free. But how i wish to own a car. I love driving!

Genna scolded for not being alert! I mean not alert oso can genna scolded cos i didnt realised that the document was urgent.. Here is the story..

i noticed e doc lying there.. so i ask DX, my co-worker who was also doing the registry job, why it was there and not sent out.. DX told me that e addressee was not in office so we felt that we would wait until tmr when he came back.. i didnt knew of the option to pass to the addressee secretary when the doc is addressed to the addressee himself.. We were told all along to pass to the letters' addressee.. AND i didnt know the doc is related to the meeting tmr.. F*** man.. Anyway that letter is not me who recorded it in the book.. i genna scolded for not being alert.. (DX happens to be away) F***.. Oso cannot blame me rite?? First, nobody would really go and flip through to find out whether the doc is tmr or ten years later. Second, Not me who did e recording in the books. I mean how would u expect a newbie to take initiative and be alert when he doesnt even know how things exactly works in there. F***. I have only worked for 11 days there. Minus away the day i helped out and the half day off, i am only 9.5days there only. What can u expect from only 9.5 days???? i dun understand.
Somemore no orientation programme.. and my trainer doesnt seem to be ard.. What can they expect? I really really dun understand.

Car-nival

Today went Expo for the Car-nival, which is basically a car show..
Went with FR, JH, and Sherliat.. Heard from FR tt last year car show was very exciting with stunt driver in the carpark doing drifts as well as car game competition.. But tis year turned out to be disappointing..

Btw, i saw one car that i think is rather stylish as compared to other more conventional ones. It is the MPS.. if i didnt remember wrongly is Toyota brand. We also saw those SUV with very flat fronts, i mean the front bumper.. Then JH jokingly said that we can buy that for farewell journey.. Cos of its flat front, very suitable to put photo in front.. plus the spacious back room to put the 'u know what'.. LOL :)

Nevertheless, though slightly disappointing, we had fun. We also went Funan afterward to see electronic products as well as for JH to buy a TV tuner. Thereafter FR wanted to went home to watch his F1 racing programme. Ended up we three went Raffles City to shop b4 heading for home..

Ytd night was fantastic! Went for GV JP celebration cum appreciation dinner at Rasa Sentosa. Celebration was for winning Mystery Shopper Competition for the year and partly for the Shrek 3 decoration competition. Although the food is not as amazing as other hotel restuarants i went before, but the party mood was there. Almost everyone was present except a few. Everybody was busy eating and thereafter snapping away taking pictures. We had gay team photos too! haha.. Made even funnier by some joker guys..
As usual we had door gift and lucky draw.. i got a hammock and a trexi.. Went hotel room to see see. TH pervert ahhh.. opened toilet door when someone inside :X .. hahha but he did it accidentally..
Very tired when the celebration drew to a close.. Jus thinking need to work tmr made me feel sleepy.. Overall had a fun-filled, enjoyable, laughable and wonderful evening at Sentosa.

It is good news that our location won the MS competition tis year as well as the decor competition. Kudos to all staff for the hard work!

Looking forward to tmr gathering at Sentosa.. And especially happy cos tmr i half day only so can go Sentosa early to play a while b4 gg for the appreciation dinner.. Anyone gg there early tmr?:)

Army personnel ordering MAC student meal

Funny thing..
Some days ago, i botak went Macdonalds in my army no.3 uniform for dinner.. Then as usual, i ordered for my usual Fillet-O-Fish student meal.. After placing my order, while e counter lady went to collect the food from the shelves, i looked at myself and realised that i m now no longer eligible for student meals, least not in my attire. I laughed at myself and wondered whether the counter lady realised what i was doing or she was jus 'bochap', or she was not serious in her work.. Whatever! :) haha but i did managed to get discounted tis time round. Yay! And i stayed happy for the whole day..
R later told me to get my whole platoon to come and order student meals.. LOLS >_<"

Reporting to new unit

Reporting to my new unit today near Bukit panjang plaza..
Wah tis morning really at a loss .. Cant find unit.. Keep asking ard.
Then i didnt change my 11B to a visitor pass.. Then go back downhill to collect pass again b4 gg back uphill again.. Was late today for abt 20 mins but then the staff there were friendly and welcoming. Later found out that another guy from PES C oso joining my dept.. At least got some companion..
Anyway, today did nothing much. Went touring and getting to know the 'HEADS'.
Hopefully, other days will be exciting too..

BMTC Sch 2

Went Palau Tekong BMTC sch 2 on MOnday and Back on Friday.. Been chionging during weekends going out with frens and thus now then gt time to blog..

BMTC sch 2 for some will be quite fun but for some will be quite bored..
Went in there like gg to camp except it is slightly worse for there is no Physical training.. In Leopard Company.. Leopard if provoked is a furious creature so pls dun provoke me for i will strike with intense furiousity.

Today went vivocity to watch movie.. initially wan to watch Zodiac but when we went there left onli SINGLE seats!!!!!! so end up watched men in white again!! Second time still veri Fani.. LOLS

Took some photos of my precious hair too! Tmr i will b botak. Never experience tis kind of feeling b4.. Anyway is good for me, can take the opportunity to press 'RESET' button to change hairstyle. >.<

It's getting meaningless.. Not working and not playing hard enough.. Alright, some of the days indeed have fun but some of the days is jus sooooo sianz and rotting away..

Today i went out watch Surf's Up with serene.. The show ok ok.. The film is shot jus like interview session, going back to the story then back to the interviewee whereby he/she commented something.. Lani and the small little round penguin (cant remember the name) is so funny.. i like the cute squid which Lani is holding...

Now keeps touching my hair for no reason, dunno y. LOL :) Guess is gg to be botak very soon..

Outing whole day!

Ytd i went to e famous temple at bugis with my mom.. WOW! there was a big crowd. Ren shan ren hai.. Walking ard seems very difficult. Mom said it was chu yi so got more pp. As we were exiting the temple, a group of four were standing in a straight line holding donation boxes. -_- THey stood jus outside the temple premises, after the gate..
Then we went shopping at the nearby provision shops and OG ..
I left for Orchard to shop alone then saw this belt very nice with a unique feature.. The belt is reversible, i.e. U can flip over and use both sides of the belt.. Priced at $29 :O but now is the GSS so got discountsss... :) i ended up buyin it. :D
Met JQ, MF, and YF for dinner at Junction 8. There was quite a lot of changes since i last went there during my (i guess) sec sch days. We went Secret Receipe.. Thanks JQ for e treat!
Watched Fantastic 4 near midnight. The fighting scenes seems too little. The storyline at the end deviates from the original as shown in cartoon and comics. But i still find it alright.. (Personal rating: 3 out of 5 stars)

Rushing for time..

Slept until noon today then went out with mei mei for lunch at kopitiam...
We were eating halfway when a middle aged man came past and accidentally knocked and dragged our table for abt a foot.. My mei and i was there staring at each other speechless.. Later i was commenting that the path was so wide yet he had to knock our table.. Even if the 'one way' pathway was blocked, he could have waited for a short while b4 crossing instead of cutting corners and knocked into our table.. BUT i do not blame him for he did it unconsciously. This scenario prompt me 1 qn: Does Singaporeans really rush ard too much that even waiting for a few minutes seem intolerable??
As i reflect on the past, during my working days, i realised i was engrossed in working so much so that i failed to slow down to appreciate the surroundings and get to know the people ard me better.. This is somehow similar to the man.. Our unconscious behaviour, rushing ard..
We went for Anything after that and noticed one part of the ingredients already tell the clue as to what we are drinking..

PLayed pool again.. This time with EX and Sherliat.. Today is EX last day out b4 he go in for NS tmr.. After our game, EX went home and FR came to join us.. We chatted a lot abt work and NS..

Movie and Nature Walk Day

Today really must thank my dear mei mei for accompanying me go out..

today went to watch Men in White @ GV Vivocity @ 12.50pm. The queue was long tao.. Then i recalled is Fantastic 4 sneaking in cinemas today..

The Men in White show is shooo LAME! -_-
Really got lots of time then can go watch and somemore if pay $$ watch is really not very advisable.. The show coincidentally got one character named Wan Yi and she makes those ARk Ark sounds too in one of the scenes.. LoL (sorry Wan Yi!) XP

After the show we went out to climb the nearby Telok Blangah Hill Park..
Actually went there to excerise as well as to get away from the crowd. The weather was rather warm as we ascend the hill.. Saw a lot of wildlife..
We had opportunity to see squirrels, rather uncommon in metropolitan Singapore..

We went back to Vivocity for more window shopping until we were upbeat then we headed for Jurong.. She wen to meet up wit her frens at IMM and i went to join Erh, Steven, MF and KT at CCK Lot 1 for dinner.. We had Ajisen Ramen for dinner and chatted and joked a lot at the dinning table.. Steven kept on 'suan' Erh at vivo and Erh kept on tellin us how good he is at doin box office.. -_-" We went home straight after dinner.

Overall i had a packed day schedule today and i hope everyday will be as interesting and exciting as today, if not better than today..

Today went to pioneer mall with my mei to renew my father's seasons parking charges.. While on the way there, i was down there asking my sis what if e person asks me things related to the charges.. i duno anything, my father jus hand me $$, asking me to help him pay the seasons parking thing.. my sis ssaid normally they wont ask anything..

Then reaching ther, we were 3rd person in the queue but the wait is like super long lor, waiting for 20 mins like that b4 reaching me.. i guess lunch time so they only got 2 counters open. True enough, the counter staff really asked me a lot of things.. Like 'paying parking charges?', 'are u the owner?', 'ur address?', bla bla bla.. i must be suay cos both of my sisters told me the staff never ask qns when they pay in the past.. X( the staff told me they could not allow me to pay the charges today and can onli pay on the 26th onwards!!!!.. i down there stunned and confused!?!??!!?

Never mind i went off without paying, then on the way back my sis told me the staff said 'the computer tells me u can only renew the charges on the 26th onwards..' hahaha funny.. :D i mean how can the computer tells u anything!! LOLs. But at that moment i didnt notice.. :) LoL

We went jp eat afterwhich my sis went to my cousin hse and i went home..

Newton Second Law of Motion states that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.

Now that i reflect that uponn myself.. i realised that i am always that opposite reaction as compared to those actions, activities, events, situations, circumstances, whether be it coincidencal and/or otherwise by fate or luck, made by my friends.. The following is when Newton 'stupid' law applies to me..
1) i always study when most people are playing.. and i play when most people are studying.. -_-#
2) i always feel that when i am busy, others are not.. so i hardly can adjust my schedule to join them..
3) i always have holiday period that is not so in line with my frens..
4) i always work hard whereas most of my frens always play hard (*sometimes, some person only (not all cases)).

i DO NOT wish to be 'opposite' with others!!!!!!

Went down NIE today for the course introduction for a career in teaching.. Saw one of my primary school friends there too.. was quite surprised.. hahax.
Mayb i can consider a career in teaching??
Thereafter went kpool to play pool with EX, HB and Lionel.. then EX and i went down Macdonald for dinner.. And we chat a lot on relationships. hahax it was interesting. :)
After dinner EX left, then i go meet zhi shiun for tea.. Surprisingly he suddenly ask me out for tea. But it turns out not to be a pleasant thing..
Good things dun approach me i guess..

Multiple Feelings..

Multiple feelings i am experiencing now..
1) Anxious. i will be going in army in 2 weeks time.
2) Confused. i saw something ytd which makess me ponder whether i shd proceed with my plans.. i was sho confused and lost in thoughts.
3) Bored. i am sufffering from working withdrawal symptoms at the moment. i feel like i got no purpose or directions in life cos i now no working and schooling.. But even though i am feeling bored, i do not wish to work.. for i wish to enjoy myself before NS..
4) Disappointed. i was disappointed with some frens for they r always not free when i jioed them out. Recently some even drift further apart.. But then again, many people got school and work and problems so i cant really blamed them rite? Can i blame them?.. :(

Wow! Today i very free and sianz at home until i nothing to do.. A bit bo liao so i Wanna try what blogging is like.. after seeing my younger sis blogging.

This is my first time blogging and this is my first entry..
Went to Serangoon Broadway at Potong Pasir to return the Graduation gown.. Then went down to PC show at Suntec today with Jinghao, Sherliat and Lionel. There were so many people that the security had to regulate the human traffic using the escalator. Although we didnt brought anything but we had fun going out together as a group. :) Long time didnt have the mass outing feeling..
Hope to have another mass outing together before i go army..
